| I'm Joni, a 21 year old student at Leuven (Belgium) I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I went to art class every sunday from the age of 6 till 12. I haven't really learned anything there, but it was fun none the less. My timeconsuming drawing has been low key since I went to university, and I'm trying to pick it up again from where I left. I don't believe photography is an art. Everyone can turn buttons and click. And with our modern age of TV and advertising, everyone can come up with a clever idea for a concept. That is why I am most amazed by traditional art. Drawings with different materials and paintings that took up a lot of time, effort, manual skills and concentration. Some of the drawings in the 'most popular category' are am-az-ing, so good they look like photos. They are an important source of inspiration, though I have a long way to go before I become that good. |
